This summer was crazy for our entire industry with travel taking precedence for so many of us. Like everyone, we worked diligently to keep up with the demand and are very excited for a smooth fall season. The chaos didn’t stop us from continuing to work on programs and development for the organization and we’re excited for what’s ahead!

Next month, we’re re-launching our Miami chapter, followed by a newly launched chapter in Nashville in November. Looking to increase your networking opportunities? With 9 chapters across North America, there are many events coming to a city near you! No MIT chapter in your city? We encourage you to check our Events Calendar to plan your travel around events in other cities. Our chapters are planning ahead to create more opportunities for our out of town members to attend MIT events (Save the Date for the Los Angeles holiday party, December 14th!) 

Keep your eyes out for pop up events and gatherings in conjunction with conferences. Just last month we hosted a fun networking event at Virtuoso Travel week with Tourism Australia and Destination NSW to showcase the upcoming Sydney World Pride event. (Stay tuned for future events at conferences like Signature and USTOA!)

The days of millennials being under-represented at trade functions are a thing of the past. We are moving into positions of power to help steer new ideas and innovate the industry we love. As we continue to grow, we’re always looking for additional support, so please check out our open positions below and stay tuned for a new program we’ll be launching in November, one that will help not only our industry, but our planet!
